A north wind, a new friend, a hope on the horizon
Time well spent, whales in the depths, our loved ones gone to heaven
They all exist
Beneath the surface
A north wind blows off Rockport Bay
Draws wayward ships from far away
To bring us home to keep us safe
We gather here each Christmas Day
A good rest, a warm nest, rich with autumn’s harvest
A dying fire, a new desire, a son becomes a father
The seasons change
The hearth sustains us
A north wind blows off Rockport Bay
Draws wayward ships from far away
To bring us home to keep us safe
We gather here each Christmas Day
God bless you all wherever you stay
To keep you whole and keep you safe
Wherever is your favored place
May north winds blow there Christmas Day
