In the throws of a challenging year, our host admits that he is battling depression and has momentarily lost his “why”. But he assures us that he’s been here before and is not afraid of this feeling. In fact, he’s willing and curious to explore it… even in front of an audience.
Through the alchemical magic of his childhood piano and a well-spring of formidable Diehard love, watch as the light and the dark clash in the mind and soul of an individual. Why are we all here? How do we get through this? Even if we make progress, what is the bigger meaning and will it be worth it? The questions remain unanswered, but the black hole of despair never takes hold. And at the end of the night, there is room for hope in the reckoning.
2020 has made us all stuck in our lives to varying degrees, but it helps to be with friends, and if there’s one thing the Wednesday night Live-Streams have taught us, it’s that we don’t have to suffer alone and we are fortified together.
